Long Dresser with Custom Glass Top
Tall Boy Dresser with Custom Glass Top
Small Nightstand
Full Size Headboard, Foot board and Side Rails
My initial plan was to refurb it and resell, but once I got my hands on this pretty little girl I just couldn't let go! I had been planning to paint the other bedroom set that we had ever since we got it...and that was over a year ago. The lines just never felt right for our French Inspired Bedroom. But this set is PERFECT!
I mean look at the details on this broad! What can compare to this? Our old set didn't stand a chance! She totally kicked this little guys butt! So off he went. Poor guy!
One SMALL problem though. This set came with a FULL size headboard and footboard. And we kinda have a KING size bed. NO NO NOOOOOOOOO!
Now I know my Husband was NOT going to downsize to a full after we converted to this wonderful king. And neither would Laila. I think they even had a small chat about it.
When we were first married we had a full and boyyyy was it not roomy at all! And now we have Laila who is a bed hog, so this wasn't an option! So I started to contemplate actually HANGING the headboard over our bed. My friend and I snuck it in the bedroom one day and we really though it didn't look that bad. I think because we both love it so much we were all googly eyed and seeing things!
Now that I see it in these pictures.... it looks totally lost. I have always wanted our bed, headboard and mirrors to be the focal point of the room when you first walk in. Those mirrors will someday be bronze when I get around to painting them. And the nightstands with the little caster wheels still need a makeover! What do you think? What to do...what to dooooo?!?!? This is a design emergency! For now I guess I have no other choice than to stick to the West Elm Inspired Tufted Headboard that we made, and eventually figure something out.
She is soooo pretty! Please give me your input! It is very much appreciated!!!!! Until next time. :)
